Anchorage Trails, Family Time and Moose Babies

Saturday dawned dark and rainy like much of the previous week.

We went for a drive anyway to see some of the fall colors that seemed to spring up over night!
I'm told Fall is very short here in Alaska. It'll be winter before we know it.

This picture is looking down over Anchorage from the hillside.

Rainy days can be beautiful too.

There are so many different trails all over the city. I love it because you can drive just a few minuets and feel like you are in the middle of no where and hardly see any other people.

Learning to identify the many types of mushrooms around here.

On the drive home we were excited to see two young moose. We sat in the truck and watched them for quite awhile until they walked away into the woods.

What a beautiful place Alaska is and what a beautiful life your living!

I love the photo of Elijah and Geoff walking with E looking up at him.

How cool is that to see moose! Two of them!
